Above: The earliest PS banners known to survive! All created by Phillip Madeley, then sixteen years old, and new to Photoshop. At the time, PS was in partnership with Phillip's TARDISite, his own Doctor Who-related site which he ran with friend Kaybee Bailey. The two sites would occassionally team up for special events, celebrating video/DVD releases and whatever. These dedicated weeks were eventually phased out before 2003. But they gave us some interesting banners! June 2002's banner is considered by Pip to be the only thing that's actually any good in that lot! :-)

Above: By September 2002, PS has established itself as a forum, and also found itself a logo, using a font adopted by the BBC on their Doctor Who VHS covers. There was also a marked improvement in the banners, as Pip became more familiar with Adobe Photoshop and what it could do. The first banner of this selection is his favourite.
