A very important year for the forum, with probably the best banners yet...

Below: Season two having come to an end, PS went retro, and had a succession of 'original series' themed banners over the summer of 2006: the first being the ten Doctors, the second being a selection of monsters and villains from the show's past, and the third created with the help of the members - we asked what iconic images our posters would love to see at the top of the forums, and we got a very mixed bag! It made for a very memorable banner, though! :-)

Trivia: The hexagonal theme was influenced by Bob Holness' Blockbusters... perhaps. :-p

By the autumn of 2006, it had been decided that PS was going to move on from ezBoard, and find itself a new home - including a proper website (the one you're on). Thinking of this, Pip decided to create a brand new look for PS - and for the first time, created the banner from scratch, rather than using existing photos from Doctor Who. The first two banners below were 'work in progress'...

The new look was created using a tutorial Pip found on the net, which he can't find now. But whoever wrote it, thank you! :-)
As plans for the big move proceeded, we asked members to donate towards our cause, and that's what those banners above were for. And here's the final banner ever seen on Planet Skaro @ ezBoard...
