I haven't watch an episode of Who at all this year - nothing since the Invasion DVD.

I'm with Ralph, I don't remember watching anything after The Invasion other than what's been on the Beeb.

LOL - my marathon has also hit the brick wall of late due to the prospect of having to now watch season 15 but I finally took the plunge last night and watched Horror of Fang Rock.

Quiet there, "Fang Rock" is brilliant. It's what lies beyond that he should worry about. And I ain't talkin' about "Image of the Fendahl".

I'm now listening to "The Wheel in Space". Episode 1 is most odd - it's like Whitaker thinks it's still the Hartnell era. The TARDIS crew explore a strange spaceship, use a food machine and have bother with mercury. Then the Doctor falls unconcious for no reason at all. It IS like the Hartnell era!

Actually though, it's quite a sweet and mysterious episode, and it's a shame that this is missing and Part 3 isn't.

well in an even braver move I watched The Invisable Enemy, last night and boy it was dull, slow and embarrassingly cheap I can definitely say it will be a very long time before I inflict this misery on my self again.

A blunt and succinct review! So it wasn't a favourite then?

Well, that's the first installment of my definitive Daleks' Master Plan done.

After going through it in extensive detail, I can reveal the following:

    • Steven's only real contribution to this episode is whacking Nick Courtney with a (very convenient) spanner.
    • Katarina is crap. She acts like she's permanently stoned, and for some reason, in all photos of her she's always looking up in some mystical way. Can't wait for The Traitors!
    • Hartnell cocks up only once... "brain... or brawn, rather... erm, line?"
    • "Mavic Chen On Holiday" sounds like the best spin-off EVER.
    • Those bald chaps on Earth are always smiling. In every bleedin' pic.
    • They only used a small bit of the Spar model shots in the finished programme. Waste.

I watched The Executioners and The Death of Doctor Who early this morning, on UK Drama. The Chase is far more palatable with the middle three episodes taken out!!

    Pip's "Masterplan" sounds ace!

We've started "The Time Monster" - four years it's taken me to persaude Lady Beckham-Rayner to watch it again!

It's a wonderful story! What other adventure contains the following lines:

"Sure as God made little green apples!"
"God bless the Good Ship Womens Lib and all who sail in her!"
    "What a doomy day!"
"Frankly Sir Charles, the whole thing smells of fish!"

    It's a hoot!

The Doctor Who weekend on UKTV Drama has raped my classic series lovin' childhood. It all looks like a load of old guff so far. Soapy T*t w*nk seems to be doing some of the voice-overs as well.

Can't believe Colin Baker topped their Greatest Doctor Who poll!

I've been unable to watch more than five minutes at a time due to the piss-poor production values. I might have to burn all of my old videos!

Final Results from UKTV Drama's Who Is The Greatest Doctor Who? poll:

There are some gems to be found on UKTV Drama's Who is the greatest Doctor Who? thread. Well, it kept me amused for about ten minutes.

    Which one is Tim?

It was a pile of poopy doo. That fat Czech guy destroyed the episode for me.

    I'd now rate it 2/10.

I think I'm starting to hate all Doctor Who stories.

People still haven't realised that The Deadley Assassin is one of the funniest Doctor Who adventures ever.
Aside from that episode of pure padding in the middle, which ruins it!
