But this was the weakest story of the season, according to my mum.

I'll say nothing, since i wouldn't dream insulting anyone's mother.

If I say it was the weakest story of the new series so far, you can insult me instead

6/10 for me solid enough if a touch predictable with the ending.

Can I bait you further by saying: Evolution of The Daleks was the worst Dalek story since 1973.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Well I thought it was the best of the "New" series 10/10 from me and up there with Genesis? of the Daleks - I mean of course the Tom Baker one where he debates with himself whether he has the right to destroy them, decides he hasn't, then a Dalek short circuits the fuse....

I've just watched these 2 episodes and sadly found them to be the 2 most disappointing episodes of the season so far. They're watchable, and enjoyable enough, but just a little bit flat imo. Not a great deal of excitement here...the trailers just promised so much more than what we got. A decidedly average 5/10 from me overall (although I'm too late to vote)

I loved both episodes. The only thing I found disappointing was the general lack of involvement of dalek Sec once he became a human mutant. He didn't really do a lot did he? An alliance with the Doctor would have interesting.

I liked the previous episode but thought this one was a bit of a let-down with a real cop-out ending.
I'm still enjoying this series more than I did the last, though!

Yep, I agree with all the above - an really excellent episode, really dramatic and gripping all the way through.
May I suggest that anyone who would like to read a story based on a successful evolution of the Daleks might like to visit www.newdaleks.co.uk There may be found two e-books by Alan MacKenzie, illustrated by Adam Bullock, entitled "Redemption of the Daleks" and the sequel, "Quest of the Daleks".
