You have to vote in both sexiest male AND female regardless of your 'preference', just to make it fun.

Ah, a poll I know nothing about. This won't take long.
Finished!

I nominate Ethan Fox from Clear Waters as most fancible male.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

SEXIEST MALE: Richard Fleeschman (Craig Harris)
Why? The pickings are slim! And he left ages ago. But we all still would. The Eastenders selection is dismal.
SEXIEST FEMALE: Lacey Turner
Why? I don't know why Tina O'Brien isn't nominated, but in her absence I shall plump for Lacey Turner and her new boobs
VILLAIN OF THE YEAR: Jack P Shepherd
Why? Jeff Hordley (Cain from "Emmerdale") just misses out to the brill David Platt. But if only the Tracey Barlow seduction storyline had extended to some clothes-free scenes.
BEST ACTOR: Bill Ward (Corrie)
Why? He just pips Shepherd for this one, with his brilliantly evil portrayal of Charlie. It says something about Stenders that they have to scrape to nominating Perry Fenwick though.
BEST ACTRESS: Sue Cleaver!
Why? If they nominate her enough, she's bound to win one year. Ursula Holden-Gill, really?
BEST COMEDY PERFORMANCE: Val Lambert (Emmerdale)
Why? She's a touch iconic, and good in a bitch fight.
BEST NEWCOMER: Kym Rider!
Why? She's fitted in like a glove as the natural successor to Betty.
SPECTACULAR SCENE OF THE YEAR: Emmerdale House Crash
Why? It wins by default. Whither Tracy knifing Charlie or Kelvin Fletcher doing topless ironing?
ON-SCREEN PARTNERSHIP: Cleaver and Thomas
Why? It's Cleaver isn't it. Liz and Steve have also been good, as have Kelvin's titties in "Emmerdale".
BEST SINGLE EPISODE: Cain and Sadie's exit
Why? Stretched credibility, but we were wrongfooted by the empty car over the cliff and the stunt with the fake blood.
BEST EXIT: Bill Ward
Why? I'd love to vote for big-hatted Lorraine Chase, but you can't beat being bumped off by a Barlow
BEST DRAMATIC PERFORMANCE: Kate Ford
Why? Ford, Ford, see my sword!
BEST DRAMATIC PERFORMANCE FROM A YOUNG ACTOR OR ACTRESS: Darren Miller
Why? Slim pickings again. The episode where he tried to get a shag and got tied to the bed was quite amusing.
BEST STORYLINE: Tracey's revenge
Why? Again, it wasn't all that but am I supposed to vote for the dreary Downs Syndrome episodes of "Enders"?

Sadly, I'm not gay enough or teeny enough to vote in this year's soapy awards.

IT'S BEEN A SMASH HIT!

It's a disgrace that the ITV Soap Awards* have ignored EastEnders (that's what happens when you stuff the panel full of Corrie lovin' harpies like Tina Baker and Sharon Marshall) in the Best Newcomer category. They must've had more new characters than all the other soaps combined in the last year. All of them better than Kym "Shiny Lego Hair" Ryder!
I can see Hollyoaks bagging loads of awards. There's been a massive online campaign this year.
* Should be the correct title. Starting your own soap awards in 1999 just because EastEnders won the BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 1997 and Best Soap in 1999 is a really bitter/desperate/ITV stylee thing to do, isn't it? See also The ITV, er... National Television Awards.Last edited by Milky Tears; 22nd May 2007 at 3:52 PM. Reason: needed to be more bitter

The most desperate is the ITV "Greatest Britons 2007" thing I saw advertised the other day. You can vote for Robbie Williams, which really gives it a contemporary feel.

I was shocked when Williams didn't win it! Think he finished about 4% behind the Queen.
Just noticed that Corrie didn't manage a nomination in the Best Comedy Performance category. I take back the guff I spouted earlier... the panel is obviously full of Hollyoaks and Emmerdale lovin' clowns this year.
