Meeting The Folk Of Who...
I was clearing out a whole loada crap today and chanced upon a few folders of autographed material. Amongst them was this pic:
I'm about 14/15 there, officially a twink. It was taken at my first ever weekend convention called Aylcon, even though unlike it's Aylesbury based predecessor, it was in Birmingham. It was the first time I met Dame Louise too!
Anyways, I thought it was quite nice, and it should thus open the floodgates to everyone else sharing their Who-celeb-stalking/papping pix!
Shouldn't it?

I was at Aylcon!
Chances are, I was roaming round on the lookout for twinks so who knows what could have happened in a parallel Universe!

I think in a parallel universe my hair would have been bigger and half-shrouded by a hat.

14/15 is just the age that Doctor Who stars start to get a bit apprehensive about meeting you.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

MY god! Look at him! Just look at him!!!!
What a nice photo, and what a great idea for a thread - it has the potential to be a classic.

C'mon folks, you gotta did yours out!
That pre-dates even the polaroid above. Note the podgy face and dodgy fringe! That was taken when Peter came to my local steam railway to do some filming. My mama and I hung round with the crew all day, Peter even made sure the Beeb paid for our lunch. I'm getting all nostalgic! First Who celeb I met, and one of the loveliest too!

Well, as it goes Mr Simmons, the said railway station did feature in Black Orchid. The train pulling out of the station is stock footage from a series called God's Wonderful Railway which was filmed at the very same location we're pictured at. So there! But that pic above was when he was recording a series called Heavenly Bodies in November '93!

I did think it looked familiar - honest guv!
Do you know if it's the same station featured in Box of Delights - whenever I see that, I think Black Orchid!

Peter DaviDson's costume woulda beena good one for a Doctor Who.
Baby P is rocking the fisherman look in the jumper.
Our archives lack any such finds apart from the following which have been posted a hundred times or mooooooore....
Aunty Sophie and Old Nick sneaking into shot. Longleat August 2002.
Dame Katy Manning. "Tenth Planet" later in 2002. There must be an alternative take of this shot from another camera judging by the fact HaRpi's eyeline is elsewhere.
Follow this you bitches.

I have no pictures of Barry Letts, certainly none of him doing that....

How is it that Sophie Aldred often manages to be slightly minging & yet strangely alluring all that the same time?
Or given the fact that i've had a few beers tonight, Is she just an 8 pinter?

Aww, Dame Sophie's a lovely lass!
I'm worried that my great knowledge of local steam railways is leaking out here. The station used in Box Of Delights is Arley, the next stop down the line, and setting for the golden classic sitcom Oh Doctor Beeching! starring Dame Susan Georgina Pollard of Nottingham.
And popcorn.
I'm going to trawl for more gold, though some might be too sensitive to post.
MONICA GELLER is all I shall say.

...this thread is dying. Dying on it's tushie!
What it needs is fresh meat.
And yes folks, P-Bal can provide that meat, courtesy of his day at The Oncoming Storm in Gloucester.
First up, a Geordie twink and a demonic stare from P-Bal.
And next up is a pairing of P-Bal with the lovely Dame Sophie Henderson!
Does the camera ever lie??
Was that the whole picture??
No folks. Herein lies the truth...
And to round things off, I was fortunate enough to get up close and pictorial with the stunningly gorgeous and delightfully friendly Lady Myanna!
Hurrah!
Now other people post some!

Sure did! Shame that Mr Olivier dropped out. But Mr Jennings, whom I sadly didn't get papped with, was a treat!
