You lucky swine!!!!
How did you manage to get that much for them?! I sold mine earlier in the year and got an average of 25 for them. Not that I'm complaining, they only cost me about 12 in the HMV sale a few years back, so I still doubled my money And of course I made back-up copies for myself before I stuck the originals in the post ...just in case 2entertain screw things up in the near future...

I sold mine a year or two back and got 40-50 each for them- since then the half-dozen VHS tapes I bought over the years have been adequate whenever I've been in the mood.

Well all payments have now been made - the same guy bought three of the six sets. I made around 200 in all, I think I picked a good time to sell...

OK, I'm thinking I might just put my complete set on eBay at the weekend, just in time for Xmas. The prices these have been fetching, well, it just seems too good to resist.
However, I'm debating whether or not to list my copy of 1968: Files Seven and Eight, which has been personally signed by the star of ITV1's 'Emmerdale' herself, Linda Thorson!
Oh, such a dilemma...Last edited by Dave Tudor; 4th Dec 2006 at 11:46 PM.

I've got all the sets, but I'm too lazy to sell them. Can't be arsed going to the Post Office.

Where's the money-grabbing spirit, James?
So anyway, the 8 Emma Peel sets fetched a grand total of 200 between them. They were mostly bought by women, too!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

My nine sets (5 Emmas, 4 Taras) went for a total of 186.50. Yay! Might have to list the Cathy Gale set soon.

My lot went for 337, which is nice.
Most of them went for between 20-30, the best seller being the Cathy Gale set, which sold for 47.50. I was a little disappointed with the prices for the Tara King sets, though, as these were probably the ones I spent the most money on originally. The highest final value went to the signed Files 7 & 8 set, which sold for 30, and this too was a little disappointing. But then, having things like this signed can sometimes be a double-edged sword - for some, an item of merchandise with one of the star's signature adds to the value and collectability, but for others, it's 'defaced', reducing the conditon and taking away from the value.
I think generally, the values for these DVDs are dropping as people are probably more aware of the forthcoming reissues. But I'm not complaining, and this little sum will do me nicely.Last edited by Dave Tudor; 17th Dec 2006 at 1:16 PM.
