Not sure whether this is a spoiler or not, but just in case, I'll turn the light off when I post:
DWM today says that this story definitely does write Charlie out, and the next batch of McGann's will be more with Lucie, in the style of the BBC7 series earlier this year. BUT these will be straight to CD stories, not on BBC7.

They did well to get Sheridan Smith back. I'll be sorry to see Charlie go in a funny way, but at least she's getting a proper departure story.

She's had a really good run, hasn't she? I'll miss her too. India has certainly given her all to BF, and I hope she gets a really good send off.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

India must be about retirement age by now.

It's probably sensible to start simplifying the McGann Doctor's adventures now that BF are the only people producing them. There's a point in the novel 'The Gallifrey Chronicles' where one of the characters points out just how confused his timeline is, not helped by the way that he seems to lose his memory the way other people lose socks.

It's certainly my favourite Charlie/Cyberman/Maureen O'Brien lookalike cover in the history of 2007.

The old woman looks like Anna Massey to me. Nice use of Neverland blue on this cover!

I'm really looking forward to this one, though I wish Charley didn't have to go. She and Paul McGann's Doctor are my fave Big Finish TARDIS team next to Evelyn and Colin!

We listened to the first two parts last night and it's been very good so far. The dialogue is zippy and quite amusing, and the plot is straightforward (for an Alan Barnes script) and I can't quite see how it's going to pan out at the moment. That's always a good thing.

I don't know why but I'm not in any hurry to listen to it.

It's been very atmospheric and intriguing so far, although it would have been better if there had been no Cybermen on the cover, because their return was built up as a bit of a surprise. The big revelation about who Byron is was great! The music is really good and there's a very funny reference back to The Chase as well.
So far it's been fast-paced, witty and enjoyable. And there's even a teaser for The Bride of Peladon.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
