K9 Tales: The Invisible Enemy & K9 And Company -Covers Added!
Interesting article here.....
http://www.phoenixmedia.co.uk/phoenix/news.htm
Phoenix Film and Television have been commissioned to produce several special feature documentaries for classic Doctor Who releases plus the long awaited "K9 and Company" all for DVD release later this year and early next year respectively.
The content of the extras must remain under wraps for the moment but Phoenix will be producing 9 documentaries in total spanning several releases throughout 2007 and 2008.
"It is a very exciting project!" explains Phoenix head of Production Rohan Latchman, "It's an opportunity to really delve into such a classic TV classic and try and come up with something different." "The new show is so high end and full of spectacular special effects, but classic Doctor Who offered all in involved so many challenges on a weekly basis to keep the show fresh and inventive and I'm really looking forward to being involved in such an exciting project!"“If my sons did not want wars, there would be none.” - Gutle Schnaper Rothschild

Well I suppose, bearing in mind that the release rate is being upped, that this was bound to happen.
Let's hope they can reunite the cast of K9 and Co!

Well the same news article features their plans for the forthcoming Young Ones 3 discs dvd set which look good, so I'd say they could make a good job of it.

Is it Tom Spilsbury or something?
Incidentally, I'm intrigued which release they are going to package this with now that we've already had "The Time Warrior" and "Hand of Fear" announced. Surely it won't have a release all to itself?

Welcome to PS Tom!
Perhaps it'll be so packed full of features, K9 and Co will need a whole DVD to iteslf... It's be the perfect place for a big feature about K9 as well as lots of stuff about the show too.

Sladen's kung-fu makes me damp. Though not as damp as the truly iconic Polan and her musty suspicious lesbian porno acting.

But Doctor Who Online is about as reliable as my dead dad and loads of fans are bitching about the piss-poor quality of Phoenix's work over on OG and Roobarb's. It's a winner all the way!!

After the excitement of Brain of Morbius I find it a little hard to accept this one. I know it has it's followers, but when I watched it last November I found myself a little underwhelmed by it for the first time ever. Perhaps familiarity with it has led to me feeling this way, hopefully a DVD will show it in a new light.
