The impression I got from the memo/press release/whatever it was that was posted at the ILF was that the release of Des Tiny and the box set were to be simultaneous (or at least very close together).

And another theory is that the "Davros Box Set" is just a limited edition version of Destiny, but coming with a Davros figure (like Bessie with 3 Docs, and the Starbug & Scutter models with a couple of the Red Dwarf DVDs).
All we have to go on is a listing in a 2E booklet. We do not know what this set is. Steve Roberts, on the OG forum, has said that the "Davros Box Set" has nothing to do with the RT, and that it's a 2E thing...

From the looks of the other items on there (Infinite Quest, S3 boxed set etc) I'd guess that it's their fourth quarter press release. I just hope it's nothing too big or too essential as there seems to be rather a lot starting to come out now.

That doesn't really fit what we know, Steve Roberts said this.....
Mind you, I suspect a lot of people will be picking up the boxset, for reasons which I can't go into... Let's just say that you're going to be getting a much bigger bang for your buck that you might imagine...

Presumably he means a marketting only thing (like the Pertwee box set etc.) with no additional restoration.

He was responding to a comment along the lines of "The RT are using this boxset to replace missing fx shots etc.", and IMO re-iterating that 2|e commision all DW titles, not the RT. We'll see.........
.....but don't forget Terry Molloy's recent blog where he mentioned he had to turn down participating in a 'Making Of Remembrance' feature.....“If my sons did not want wars, there would be none.” - Gutle Schnaper Rothschild

This year we got a Master boxset and he returned to the new series. Next year, we're getting A Davros set.... Those Ben Kingsley rumours are probably true then.

They've used stuff from his Myth Makers interview before, so there's the possibility he'll be involved despite him being dead.

Clever Prime!
And so on and so forth.
Destiny of The Daleks is an excellent choice for DVD. Although it only leaves us with Day, Planet and Chase as future Dalek DVD releases!
I wish Day of the Daleks would come out on DVDPity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
