Unfortunate prophetic/ironic lyrics ...
This is a thread for lyrcis which eerily echo the life of the artist wot wrote them.
"They tried to get me go to Rehab and I said No No No!"
Amy Winehouse, Rehab"Life is the same and it always will be,
Easy as picking foxes from a tree"
Marc Bolan, Solid Gold
He was killed when his Mini reg FOX 66IL went into a tree."No I dont have a gun"
Kurt Cobain, Come as you are
Although some maintain Kurt didn't and it was Courtney Love wot done him in.

What about hits that echo real life events?
"Castles in the Sky" by Ian Van Dahl was released not long before 9/11 and was pulled from the airwaves after it happened, and, although it was instrumental, Robert Miles' "Children" was referred to only by the name of the artist on Top of the Pops after the Dunblane massacre.
