Fiendish Doctor Who questions.
I was on Facebook on Sunday and took a Doctor Who quiz.
Talk about failing standards in education. I managed 100%, and I'm really more a Star Trek fan for trivia.
Well I set about creating the most fiendish Doctor Who trivia quiz imaginable, set it up, and sat back ready to laugh.
Si Hart had a go, and even he only managed 90%. But lo and behold several people have managed 100%, and their quiz times are such they couldnt have looked up the answers on Wikipedia.
So what would your most fiendish Doctor Who trivia question be?

So where is this quiz? I've looked but can't find it - then again a lot of things like that on Facebook are fiendishly hidden away
Your people? Your people??? They are MY people now!

Reprinting all the Watcher's questions from DWM would be fiendish indeed! There were some right buggers in that lot.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

They were very easy if you were on the same quiz team as Nick Pegg
Make way for a naval officer!

Was that because Gary Russell would tell him all the answers?

Perhaps he confused "phone a friend" with "drive over to a friend's house, stay for a couple of days, then cruise back at a leisurely pace".

Oh my dear Doctor, the real explanation is far more simple. The first time I tried it the quiz crashed. 3 days later, my strength was renewed by the numismaton gas and I tried again, scoring 100% and dwarfing Si's score of 90%! Hahahahahah.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I started getting a "virtual memory low error" and somehow managed to skip an entire question!

I'm not on Facebook, but I bet I could manage at least 90%.

I managed 100% in 1m48s, do I win a prize?
One Day, I shall come back, Yes, I shall come back,
Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

I'm thinking I need to spend this week trying to think up even more fiendish questions. I put some options in there I thought might divert people, like similarly sounding characters, or names used in the story in question. Very few people have been sidetracked.
I'm annoyed no-one has yet chosen that there was a mad scientist called Doreen Soreen though.

Look out for a Doreen Soreen in a future PS Audio...maybe.

I only got 90%...screwed up with the Beryl Reid question though (I knew the right answer...haven't a clue why I got it wrong )
btw I see that someone must have found it hard, with a score of 30%...Last edited by MacNimon; 31st Oct 2007 at 7:55 PM.
