The Glittering Storm and The Thirteeth Stone
Has anyone heard these audio books yet? I thought they made fun stories, well told and Sladen read them well. There were some good touches to the dialogue, and it felt a bit like a missing TV story. I particuarly enjoyed Sladen's hysterical "Noooooo!" in the closing stages of "Glittering Storm" and her voice of the monster as well. Luke, Clyde and Maria seem particuarly well characterised in both stories, though Clyde is annoying at times. I can imagine these being quite popular with kids.
Has anyone else indulged?
Si.

Sladen's monster voice was a t-reat.
I really enjoyed The Glittering Storm, but The Thirteenth Stone seemed a little average.
They're definately worth the investment tho.

The Glittering Storm was rather good we thought. Sladen's reading in the first person was really rather good and her impressions of the regulars made us smile. Perfect for a long car journey.
