Sorry to hear that Phil. I've normally succumbed to some bug or other by this time - I'm manfully keeping all maladies at bay!

I'm sorry to hear that, Phil. I hope you get completely better by at least Christmas eve if not sooner.

I came down with a cold on Monday. As tonight's my wlrks xmas meal I did wonder whether I'd feel up to it. Despite still having a bit of a stuffy nose, the sore throat and crappy feeling have thankfully gone. My colds have lasted much less time since I gave up smoking. Another positive to take from it.

What viewing / listening are we all doing? I shall be perusing the Christmas Radio Times on the train to Liverpool tonight. Regardless of what's broadcast, I always like to watch a Carry On, a Hitchcock, a classic Who and a lost Who soundtrack. So this year I'm going for:-
Carry On Jack
I Confess
Inferno
Evil of the Daleks
That should keep me busy!

I'm upgrading my MythTV server.
It's a PC/Linux box that records TV.
New disks and an upgraded OS should mean there's lots more room for TV programmes
No idea what I'll be watching/recording - I think I've still got some programs left over from last year!Assume you're going to Win

Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Christmas isn't the problem this year - New Year will probably be spent getting together all the Christmas cards Dad got this year so that we know who to contact and tell he's not at home any more.

I forget - technically I started Christmas 2015 at the beginning of 2015
I went and bought wrapping paper, labels and festive sticky tape in the January sales.
I got loads - and it was all really cheap
Also, on the Sunday evening just gone, I put my Christmas tree up.
As it was Sunday evening, there was nothing better to do - and there was nobody to stop meAssume you're going to Win
