    "No brainer".

I hate it beyond all imaginings.

Why do I hate it? Well that's a no brainer...

    Innit.

Don't mind it being substituted for "isn't it". I say that myself. But an everyday example i heard at the gym today says it all: "I thought i recognised you from somewhere innit."
    It bugs me.

"End of the day", especially when used about twenty times in the same conversation.

"Rumpy Pumpy" sets my teeth on edge too, I'm not sure why but I can't help but picture very old posh women with ginormous teeth having sex when I hear it.

"shut up", "Go Away", "ooohhhhh!" and any other phrases my soon to be teenage son keeps coming out with.

"This tax is for the environment". HA! What rubbish!

Americanisms in English everyday talk- Gotten is a particular bugbear and that horrible phrase "that's it, period" really winds me up.

Like Wayne I also dislike the use of innit.

Meetings with titles such as "Project Gumblejack - the way forward" or "Project Speelsnape - a vision" are irritating.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The word 'More-ish' makes me want to commit unspeakable acts of violence.

That's a fairly inoffensive one isn't it? I sometimes say that. I'd better be careful next month.

I've just thought of another one.

When the word "ask" gets pronounced as "arks".

"arks" is a strange one. They all seem to do it on "EastEnders" almost like it's an injoke. I can't understand why anyone would pronounce it that way.

"arks" or "axe". That one gets on my nerves too. I lot of black folk seem to pronounce it like that for some reason. Then people copy it 'coz they think it's cool.

I like that word though, mainly because of the Harry Hill* joke - "The problem with heroin is it's very more-ish".

    * And more recently, Russell Brand, the thieving little joke b'stard that he is.

All management speak. Here's some examples.

    ballpark figure
    be proactive not reactive
    bring it to the table
    mission critical
    move the goalposts
    think outside the box
    blue-sky thinking
    pushing the envelope
there is no 'I' in team
    knowledge base
    core competencies
    win-win situation
    client focus
    deliverables
    incentivise
take it to the next level

You can also have fun with these at meetings with buzzword bingo!

Also people that start sentences "To be honest...."

Also I had to attend a sickness abscence review meeting a while ago and they kept using the phrase "manage your sickness" which is the most ridiculous phrase ever.

I've always cringed at the word "fandom". I don't know why, it just sounds awful!

And I hate it when people end sentences to sound like a question when it isn't one.
