Genesis of the Daleks - simple and effective.

Warriors is just to plain , looking and needs a some thing extra, the Visitation is a massive improve on the awful version 1 photograph cover. Day of the Daleks, is just boring I do like the 5 Doctors cover , but it's Genesis that wins it for me.

These later covers aren't a patch on the older covers if you ask me. They're just not as striking, but Genesis is the best of the bunch.

I've gone for Warriors Gate.
Visitation Version 2 is too cluttered for me.
Genesis of the Daleks Version 2 is good & has support already.
Five Doctors Version 1 is poor & not good at all.
And Day of the Daleks Version 3 is boring.

I really like that cover for The Visitation. It's the best it's ever had. I was quite tempted by The Five Doctors, which I've always rather liked.
Warriors' Gate loses out by having a colourful void, when it should really be white, Geneisis for the really odd picture of Tom Baker and Day of the Daleks is a strange old cover. Why's it so green?

I spent a while staring at The Five Doctors cover as a kid, so it gets my vote.
On the Genesis cover, it looks like Tom Baker has smeared his face in Sh!t. The Dalek on the cover of Day is superb. On The Visitation, Davison is too big, or the others are too small. Warriors Gate is pretty good.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

The Five Doctors And The Visitation are far and away the best covers here. I loved the Five Doctors for being so shiny when it came out - I'm easily pleased...- but artistically the best is The Visitation.

As a rule, I don't tend to vote for the 90s reprint covers but neither of the two originals here are particular favourites so I'll plump for Genesis - Tom does look a little odd, but Davros looks great.

The Five Doctors and Warriors Gate are not that great, and, while they're all very well drawn, the three Pearson covers leave me a bit cold - however, I do quite like that Day Of The Daleks, and I remember it catching my eye when I first saw it in DWM all those years ago. Also, I don't know why, the colours just seem so... right. It gets my vote.

The Day of the Daleks cover is dull, Genesis of the Daleks has an awful likeness of Tom on it, Five Doctors is a little plain but the centrepiece is awfully nice, Visitation is a better Pearson cover but Warriors Gate is a clear winner for me in this group.

Warriors' Gate is atmospheric and represents the story beautifully!
One Day, I shall come back, Yes, I shall come back,
Until them, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties, Just go forward in all your beliefs,
and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!
