I agree about the Five Doctors, Wayne. I think that this story deserves a far better package than has already been released. There's so much stuff from late 83 that could go on there.

I'd like to see for this year;
New Beginings
Survival
The War Machines
The Deadly Assasin
The Ambassadors of Death
Revenge of the Cybermen
Death to the Daleks
Planet of Fire
Delta and the Bannermen
The Ice Warriors (with animated episodes)
I went for a mix of various types of stories, i hope they would work for most people!

Perhaps that's part of it, although it's as much likely to be the teenage things of being embarrassed about the things you love and herd mentality. The ironic thing is, that from being about five years too old for S24, all of a sudden things shifted around so that if anything I was a year or two too young for S26, which has all the stuff about nuclear weapons, having something to believe in, our relationship with the natural world and that whole rag-bag of ideas and politics which would have been perfect for my A-level years if I hadn't been trying to rebel against liberal parents.

This post might get me banned from here, but here goes ...
I'm currently looking like mad for the DVDs of the Peter Cushing Dalek movies - I know some Who fans consider that herisy, and not cannon. However I love the pacing of those films (shorter and better production values than the TV series, plus in colour). I know the originals are TV history, but I grew up with the Peter Cushing ones on a Saturday morning as a kind of institution, and perhaps more Dr Who to me than Billy Hartnell who I only discovered much later!Last edited by WhiteCrow; 7th Jan 2007 at 10:34 PM.

I think we should have
1st Keys of Marinus
2nd Krotons
3rd Time Monster
4th Underworld
5th Timeflight
6th Timelash
7th Battlefield
That way there'd be nothing I'd want so desperately that it couldn't wait until they're all on special offer, and I might be able to save up enough for New Series Box setsBazinga !

People are far too mean about The Krotons. It's far more entertaining than any of the other stories in that list!
