Well, true, but so was the stuff that came out of the Doctor in The Christmas Invasion.

Or maybe it was the same stuff as the terraforming magic dust, and Jenny was the only one who breathed it in and then died. Maybe they're all immortal now....

Isn't that a bit difficult when the Doctor has the only TARDIS?
What if the Master's cremation was in the far future - for some reason.

I felt quite underwhelmed by the episode. I'm not sure why. I think it doesn't help that you don't really get to know Jenny very well.

They didn't really explore the idea of someone who was only born an hour ago, but has military and martial knowledge.

In fact, she came out of the machine with a big smug grin and instantly identified the Doctor as her father.

Her character may have changed during the episode, but it was very sketchy. And with two other companions running around there was no time to develop her.

Martha keeps appearing in Doctor Who and she fails to get involved in the stories. I like her character, but would things have turned out any different if she hadn't have been there?!

I've just realised that this episode was written by Stephen Greenhorn as was last season's Lazarus Experiment and I was quite underwhelmed by that episode too.

Just a quick addendum - the boys are just watching this for the first time while I'm working, and we've got floods of tears and wailing.... because the nice Hath has died !! I dread to think what the reaction will be in about 15 mins
