Doctor Butterworth has retired to Sussex. We now have Doctor Wilcox in charge. Sounds like a name you can trust

I've seen a lot of Max Wall's naked torso over these past couple of episodes. Got .....to ......delete from memory.......

I'd forgotten about that!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Blimey, Benny's "feeling" about a bus crash premonition has come true! But was Mavis Hooper on it? I hope not - I'm growing fond of the old bag.

Adam & Jill have bought the garage underneath David's nose. He's seething. Well I think he's seething.

It's never easy to tell if David Hunter is feeling anything at all...

Quite a preachy episode of Crossroads this morning, as issues such as Down's Syndrome and Benny's learning disability were discussed. I thought I was watching Eastenders

Aw Jill & Adam are now married! At least the service was shorter than Meg & Hugh's!
And what a joy to see Miss Tatum again!

That's a really lovely episode. I love Jill's little thinking scene before the ceremony. Poor old Sandy, poor old Meg,

Well the second half of this morning's episode was exciting - filmed footage of Jill Darling and Adam Darling in Venice. And special music!!

After years laregly stuck in the purple motel, it's pretty shocking! They make the most of Venice!

Looking forward to it - things have been a bit quiet since Valerie Pollard left!

Surely it's Huddersfield and not ACTUAL Venice?
Si.

And there's the money shot right at the end
Dressed in a shroud made Meg look very ghost-like! She got top billing in the credits too of course! But the excitement doesn't stop there! There was also filmed footage in a special needs school, where Benny's old flame works. Can it get any more exciting???

Mr Latchford is blaming "the empty-headed birds in the office" for an accounts mix-up. He's got the hots for Kath Brownlow. It seems like every single man over 50 has the hots for Kath - Glenda's not happy! If there was a prize for whingeing she'd come tops.

Yay Doris Luke is back! But what has happened to her marriage with Tom?
Kath Brownlow and John Latchford have locked lips. That's an image I can't un see

Glenda can be such a bitch! I hope she becomes nicer after the birth (9 weeks apparently!)
Not quite sure what's happened to the end theme - they just keep repeating one section of music over and over. Maybe the record's worn out after all these years!

We had the Wings theme today as it was a year ago that Arthur Brownlow met his demise. I didn't think I'd hear it again (apart from on my radio show )

Poor David is looking really pensive:-
He's had to chair the village hall meeting about converting a large house into accommodation for young people with learning difficulties. There are placards being hoisted saying "handicapped out". Was this really what 1983 was like?
