If it's a below-par story, 2-entertain are there teeing up a DVD release!
I bet they won't get Tim Piggott-Smith - probably just Stuart Fell and that ginger bloke.

That ginger bloke was Tim Piggot-Smith
Hooray! It's about time we had a truly great, enjoyable and intelligent Hinchcliffe story on DVD!

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

well I think this is quite an under rated story and it would be nice to see it released soon.

Masque of Mandragora.
I hope there's some good extras on it. Maybe Tom will recount the tale of meeting Wayne Jefferies in 1976. I've done it for him often enough. (Shut it, Tim)

I've never liked this story although I've only seen it twice or thrice so maybe it'll finally gel for me all shiny and new on DeeVeeDee.
Or not.

I love this story and Lis has two very pretty costumes in it.
However, making the documentary is no great indicator of imminent release!

My main objection is that nothing at all happens! They arrive, some oranges are picked, there's a dull dance to organise (give me strength!) some fiddling with a telescope and that's about it!
The best thing about it is Norman Jones lovely villainous turn as Heironymous, a great twisted prophet with one of the mightiest false beards in Who history.

I really like 'Masque' myself - I agree that it's underrated, it's got a good cast, and it looks gorgeous. I'm sure it will look even moreso all spruced up on sparkly shiny disc.

Masque is plotsome! It's an invasion story! The masque is in itself quite a gorefest with amount of people stuck down, confusingly it seems by The Doctor. But we'll step past that one.

Masque has never been a story I've particularly enjoyed, but I'd actually look forward to it's release on DVD as I haven't watched it for some time, and a new DVD would give me a good reason for doing so.
Was it Masque that Tom broke his collar bone while filming?

Not that I'm complaining, I adore this story, but I haven't heard it confirmed anywhere.

A posting on the "Eye of Horus" news page isn't a confirmation though.
