Return of the Cybermen!
Less than 6 months left now!
I previously thought we might see some abomination of a cross between Sense and Sensibility and Daleks.
But Victoriana Cybermen Invasion? That's going to be interesting, I just can't wait - but then the Cybermen are by far my favourite villains.
I'm personally hoping for the historical figure of Isambard Kingdom Brunel to show up - just for the tagline,
The Little Giant
vs
the Silver Giants!

This story title demands an exclamation mark or at least CYBERMEN to be written in capitals!
Those shots of them marching through the graveyard in the fog are more Christmas-y than anything in any of the previous Christmas Specials!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Oh Gee! News doesn't seem to think that "Return of the Cybermen" is the actual episode title, just a tag line.

Ha! Well it would be about right if it wasn't, considering how many times the series has tried to use Return of the Cybermen as a title for a story.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Maybe we'll discover that the Christmas angels atop your christmas tree, stem from tiny cybermats atop victorian Xmas trees.

I request, no DEMAND that we see a Cyberman in a Victorian cape, carrying a cane!
Actually - does anyone ever remember Harry Enfields version of "Terminator 3 - a Merchant Ivory production"? I can't help cheekily thinking of that.

Hang on a minute, are these the parallel cybermen again? I thought they couldn't time travel. Or are these the proper cybermen from "our" universe?

We'll have to wait until Christmas to find out....

Victorian Cybermen, eh...?
"Ah, Mr. Darcy, a pleasant day is it not?"
"The weather is immaterial. Your feelings concerning the weather are immaterial. You are to be deleted."
"Fie, Mr. Darcy, you say the most amusing things!"

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a silver giant in possession of a large gun must be in want of a world to take over.

Return of the Cybermen
Will the Cybermen be revealed to be Jack the Ripper using a dodgy steam powered cyberconversion unit?

I was hoping for a few cybermen cross dressing with nice parasols, but doubtless the phantom/Jack riff will be more likely...

I dunno if I'm all that excited about the Cybermen, and I'm a huge fan of them, but ever since they've been re-vamped and were given that crap storyline in season 2 I've been kinda "eh" towards them.
I prefer the Cybermen from the 80's with the deep voices and blood curdling screams- even though their new look isn't half bad.
