Delta and The Bannermen - Back from The 50's NOW!
Doctor Who's most controversial season makes its debut on shiny disc this year as Delta finally comes up for release.
I expect lots of deleted/ extended scenes and out takes galore and hopefully Bonnie on the commentary too!

Ah, this should be a delight, for the commentary at least. Is Ken Dodd still going?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Anyone who's seen his live show will tell you he's always still going!
I'm rather pleased that this one's coming out. I liked it at the time, and it was the first full story that was broadcast after I got a VCR. Took me a little while to get the hang of it, and I went over episode 3 with episode 1 of Dragonfire, which I subsequently went over with episode 2. Then the video relese passed me by... Why anyone at the library lets me within ten miles of the computers...

Sim, by "controversial" do you mean "so crap it looks like panto"?
I'd love to say I had fond memories of the season, but I can remember being a time that really soured my relationship with the show. Still at least it picked up the next season.Creator of Doctor WHeasel and sometime political radical

well as I've said before I'm no fan of season 24, but having said that I can't even remember if I saw this story as I can remember nothing about it so I might just get it/.

Delta is a great story from the diverse and much underrated Season 24!

I'm thrilled this is coming out on DVD. It's always been a favourite and there's a lot of potential extras including some behind the scenes stuff filmed (and not video taped) on location which includes Bonnie in a green glittery hat. I think.
Shame the Holiday Camp location has recently been knocked down and turned into a housing estate but there might be footage of it in it's dying days they could feature.

It would be an awesome and cool release if the RT included a "Defending the Turkeys" article published in DWB approx. 20 years ago!

I don't think I'd fancy being touched up by the RT.
