There's gold in them thar hills. Cracking start to Series 2. I knew the rifle being fired at the ground was a diversion, but I didn't realise to what extent. Clever stuff. Long live the long con .... and Marc Warren's come to bed dreamy blue eyes :-)

Loved the episode with Doreen Mantle in it, and Danny's Granny. Aw!

Saw the episode with the auction of rare comics (one hundred, one hundred and five ..... sold for one hundred and ten thousand pounds!!) Great twist! All this, and a bent copper too!

A great, geek-heavy episode that one with the comics, with some fairly familiar characters and situations. Avoids being too patronising, but only just. Plus an 'interesting' outfit for Stacey too!

Nobody pouts like Stacey! Loved the way they switched the real comic for the fake one.

The One Where Stacie's Husband Returns
Sounds like an episode of Friends! A good old Poker Long Con, with Stacie having to switch plans at the end, plus an excellent use of laxatives! And Max Beesley was eesley on the eye (but not a patch on Marc Warren!)

Well if anyone's going to steal the Crown Jewels, it's this lot. Damn these stories are clever! That's Season 2 done :-)

Making a start on Series 3. Mel Smith was great in the lead villain role. Good to see Keith Barron too. Only disappointed was Marc Warren - you didn't see him get out of the bath :-)

Don't worry there's one you'll really appreciate coming soon!
I love the Mel Smith one. He's really good in the role and really rather menacing. His son is such a little shit!

I recently saw the final episode after missing it on original trensmission - Matt DiAngelo was wearing a very strange outfit in one short scene but I must say it was rather appealing...

I don't remember what he was wearing now, but in general, he was rather appealing

Wow - Richard Chamberlain as a star guest! I liked the "silent movie" inserts as well - Adrian Lester made a great Chaplin!

Just watched the Bollywood episode with the amnesiac villain. Loved the "dream sequence" with our heroes hamming it up in Asian clobber :-)

So that's Series 3 completed - what an enjoyable series. It's still fresh and full of ideas. The Queen Mother con was my fave story, but the last one about the Hans Christian Anderson stories was also great - particularly the scenes with Albert in prison, still helping his chums!

Here we go with Series 4. No more Mickey (for now) but we had Robert Wagner as guest villain in an outlandish story about plotting to steal the Hollywood sign. It's good to have them back (on my DVD player )

Ah, the Danny Year. The team have a really different dynamic without Mickey. You don't realise how integral to the whole thing Adrian Lester was until he's gone. Then again, it freshens things up because the first 3 series are largely about the rivalry between Danny and Mickey. Shame we never really got a conclusion to that in the end.

Saw the horse racing one with Billy The Kid who I assume is the new grifter? First impressions were "meh". Not much sparkle to his personality, but he's only young. He may grow on me. The world of horse racing leaves me cold so I wasn't totally taken the story either.

Billy The 'Meh' is about right, sadly.
