But the question is, will it be in a boxset, or will 2|entertain pull the stupidest stunt ever and make it a standalone release?
Also, will Mark Strickson be on the commentary? For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

It wouldn't be THAT stupid if it was a standalone story - the three stories were aired perfectly seperately, it's only fans in hindsight that have termed it a trilogy. And they came out individually on VHS.
The only ones who benefit from box sets really are 2-entertain, who then get to release three stories in one go and take more money from each individual purchase (the age-old retail trick of 'three for the price of two'), so it'd only be stupid for them if it came out on its own really.

Sorry, Si, but I don't follow your logic here at all. The three stories were written as a set of three, carry a whole sub-plot throughout, aired one after the other, and released individually but in order and consecutively on video. How does this set of stories not qualify as a trilogy? They're more tightly linked than the E-space trilogy, certainly (one of which was written long before the idea of e-space ever came up, and one of which isn't set in e-space at all).

I like getting the stories sooner and getting the value for money. I don't like having to put the cardboard slipcases in a drawer!

They need to be in order on the shelf, and I think we should all frown heavily on Pip for saying otherwise.

I chuck the boxes away when I get them, but I feel bad when I do it.

It always feels somehow more decent to just shove them in a drawer with Pip's unfinished "Daleks Masterplan" recon and forget about them.

That was a dagger through my heart!
(it'll be finished for Christmas - Feast of Steven killed all my enthusiasm for the project)

I think there's more chance of them finishing "Shada"...

I put my DVD's in order on the shelf & use the cardboard slip cases to keep one of the stories that is associated with the slip case stays & the next stories in order fill the slip case spaces if necessary.
How can I get hold of Pip Productions DVD recons? And how much will it cost me?

Chronological order for us, with the slipcases used- with stories put in that don't belong in the box where the sets aren't chronological to keep the flow! It's the only way!

same with me starting with William Hartnell on the top shelf of my book case working it's way down as for the boxes I bin those .
despite these extras being cleared I personaly would be suprised to see it released this year and think it's more likely for a January 2010 release.
