Amazing fact - I particularly like to imagine that Lucas is actually nicking all his ideas from old episodes of Who. Maybe he saw episode 1 of Dragonfire on his Time-Space Visualiser and it inspired the Cantina scene.

Mind you, it's not that daft a suggestion, clearly many of his film titles have been nicked from Who. Consider the evidence:

    The Underwater (Phantom) Menace
    Attack of the Cybermen (Clones)
    Revenge of the Cybermen (Sith)
    (Raiders of) The (Lost) Ark
(Indiana Jones and) The (Last) Crusade

    It's a conspiracy I tells ya!!

In other, marginally less raving, news, I just looked up the Star Wars version of Telos, and was rather tickled to find a full page entry listed... on Wookieepedia!!

When was each name mentioned? It might turn out that Star Wars used the name first...in which case best to keep quiet, Lucas has a lot more money than the BBC.

Well as "Tomb of the Cybermen" (set on Telos) was screened in 1967 and the first Star Wars film didn't appear until ten years after that, we should be ok!

Well according to Wiki a telos (from the Greek τέλοϛ for "end", "purpose", or "goal") is an end or purpose, in a fairly constrained sense used by philosophers such as Aristotle.
So both names have been taken from historical basis & therefore no copying has been done from one or the other.

Yes, but using the word Telos as a name for a planet, and then that same thing being done by someone else, has sure got to count for something.

Imagine if the Daleks turned up in the Looney Tunes universe. That would just be silly.

Yes...I knew about that...that was sort of a joke.

That's what emoticons are for. You come accross as serious if you don't use them.

Or another good thing is, you can slag someone off, then stick one at the end and get away with it! It works, try it.

    You SLAG.

I don't exactly think it comes from nowhere. His frustration with Obi Wan and the impatience/lack of trust has been brewing for ages. His Mother being killed by the Tuscan Raiders provoked an outpouring of violence and hatred towards them (the Younglings arn't the first innocent children he's killed). And finally his rejection by the Jedi and gentle persausion by Sideous that they are plotting against the Senate sends him over the edge. It took three films to get here, so whatever you might say about his turning to the Dark Side, it's hardly sudden.
