    Second to last.

At present, I've got no plans - I usually leave it to the last minute, keep my ear to the ground, and try to blag my way in somewhere! Doubt I'll be going into town, as you'll probably have to pay to get in anywhere (I'm sure it's 60 for one of my regular haunts!!! ) - when did all this business about paying to get into pubs on New Year's Eve start!?

I could go over to me mum and dad's, but I don't really want to see in another New Year in Oswestry, but my brothers said they might come over. However, it's more than likely I'll be seeing this one in on my own, with just Jools Holland for company.

I have no plans for tonight- the idea of getting drunk in a pub full of strangers doesn't appeal to me any more and as I don't know the kind of people who have parties, if it's dry later on I might go for a walk at around 11pm to watch all the fireworks going off at midnight.

    .
then if you add on to that paying treble on your taxi fare it can end up being a very expencive evening.

been doing that for some time having to buy tickets in advance personaly I think it'd ridiculous especialy when you look around Reading and see how many pubs there are in the town centre. So it's not as if there are not enough to cope with the amount of people wanting to be out me i'll just be spending the evenening at home..

Staying in, and I've just found three bottles of champagne in the cupboard - I knew I had one, but now feel no guilt at having one all to myself!

New year's eve is the evil twin of Christmas eve, a drunken and desperate last stand before the eventless grimness of January....or is it the best party night of the year, where glitz and glamour deserve to reach new heights and romance is but a kiss away?

Staying in local pubs tonight though. Bolton town scares me!

Awww..... No swear filtered Walthamstow pub action tonight then, Jonno?
It's night's like tonight when i wish i could be in two places at once.
Well, possibly 3 or 4 places actually.
One of me could 'borrow' one of your bottles of champagne & head up to Bolton with it to try & woo Carol under that table.

You can do what you like with the bottle once I've finished with it.

You won't be getting any sympathetic hugs in a goth pub!

My NYE plans have changed about a hundred times* in the last few weeks. First it was a party at Kathy's, then a night out in the exciting Surrey town of Dorking, then Reigate, now it's all of a sudden changed to a night out in Redhill.

It'll be a pub thing, one where we don't have to get tickets, but on the plus side it's not a bad pub at all, Kathy, Nathan and Kathy's Sister will be there, and hey, if I can somehow get rid of the hangover I still am suffering from from Friday night, it might be a fun night out!

    *Well, ahem, four times then.

One of my teachers at school got into serious trouble and nearly lost his job for doing just that on the French trip...

well, myself and Teresa are staying in. We've got the house to ourselves, we're going to order a chinese meal, we've got ourselves a bottle of pink champagne, a bottle of wine and a nice cosy fireplace to sit by and watch films!

Oksana and I will be having a few drinks in Brentford in the pub where we met (and where I play jazz every week). We've already booked a cab for about 2:45 tomorrow morning so I expect to get hammered!!!
Mind you, I've been good so far and haven't been properly drunk since before Christmas - so I'll be trying to rectify that tonight!!!
