Silver Nemesis, Revenge of the Cybermen and The Masque of Mandragora, eh?
Add to that The King's Demons/Planet of Fire and the rumoured Myths & Legends boxset, and we've got a pretty interesting year ahead of us!
And I've heard a few whisperings about The Chase, too...For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.
...Oh, who am I kidding?

It would be interesting to see if they have managed to restore that episode (something to do with baking I think).
I'm going mad aren't I.
-

No - baking tapes is a proven method for restoring them to a playable condition.

I hope it's not called 'The Peladon Boxset'. That would be so dull! 'The Alpha Centauri Erection' would be much better. Yes it would. Definitively.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Indeed. Something rude at any rate. Or 'The Ice Warriors In Colour'.

I think we can expect Mind Of Evil too.

I wonder if this "Golden Age" thing is Invasion of the Dinosaurs with a recoloured Part One? It would be nice if it was.
The Mind of Evil could come out next year but it requires a lot of work recolouring the six episodes (already started I think). However, Episode One will have to be done by hand with a lot of guesswork as no chroma dots are present on the tape. (They'll probably use the colour from the other five episodes as a guide.)

by the end of 2009 there will still be roughly not including incomplete stories 45 stories left for release which is at the current release rate another 3 years.
we have
Hartnell - 6
Troughton - 2
Pertwee - 13
T Baker - 12
Davison - 6
Mccoy - 6
so looking at that unless they are going to do a bumper Pertwee box set release we realistcaly could be looking at at least 4 pertwee releases every year untill everything is out.

You might need to be quick (expect they'll be removed soon enough) but this chap here has the coming soon DVD trailers for the Dalek War set, the Kamelion set and, erm, The Dominators!

Dominators looking particularly funky there..."I remember because cherries send me into a wild fury!"

Has someone not just made those? Can't be too hard for someone with enough time.

And the picture & sound quality on the Dominators promo is far too good to be from the old VHS release...

Yeah, but Si wouldn't know about that, would he?

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

It's lovely that all five episodes of "The Dominators" exist in pristine condition while we have next to nothing from "Fury from the Deep", "Power of the Daleks" or "The Web of Fear".

Plus the guy also uploaded an extra from the upcoming Marinus disc. All the footage he's uploaded comes from test discs, apparently.

I dunno, I think some of the missing episodes are probably over-rated. Plus we do have some classics that we'd be sad to lose, such as the whole Pertwee era, The War Games, Tomb of The Cybermen, The Sensorites, most of The Crusades, The Dalek Invasion of Earth, An Unearthly Child...

The trailer for Dalek War makes it look bloody fantastic.
Shame we know the truth...
Interesting to note the guy says the Kamelion set is due in December?
