For the first time in Destiny of the Daleks, I've now spotted both the Morestran and Sisterhood of Karn costumes - I'm fairly sure I'd seen the Draconian before.

According to the info text, when the Doctor whistles Colonel Bogey on entering the Movellan ship, one of the Movellans reacts oddly which gives a clue to their robotic nature - I didn't spot this myself, but will aim to look out for it next time I watch it.

Some of the control panels & stuff in The Ark In Space were bought from Gerry Anderson's puppeteering TV shows company.

Also, a very knackered Sea Devil turns up in an episode of Blake's 7.

Thirdly, a Terileptil painted pink is in Trial of a Time Lord:Mindwarp.

I can't remember which part (probably part 2) but in the Hand of Fear in the scene where all hell breaks loose at the power plant, during Glyn Houston shouty scene, a fly lands on his face.

I only noticed that myself when it was pointed out on the DVD commentary.

Ah, I hadn't listened to the commentary. I only noticed it because the children repeatedly watched it until I was sick of it.

Isn't there something you could show them until they're sick of it out of revenge?

I know, I'll send a photo of me - I promise you you'll only need to use it once!

In "The Keys of Marinus", just after Barbara falls through the trap door in "The Sea of Death", it cuts to Ian and as the shot begins you can see either her or another unidentified production person scampering off the back of the set.

Sorry, I know picking out production goofs in that story is like shooting at lame birds, but there you are.

speaking of production goofs in The Keys of Marinus, in Part One, when they discover the TARDIS is behind a forcefield, they all mime the forcefield being there, but then Ian steps in front of them all and ruins the carefully acted effect.

William Hartnell turns into a budhist in Episode 2 of "The Sensorites" - "You're strongest when you're calmest". Where did it come from?

Peter R. Newman was obviously a time-travelling Barry Letts...

The TARDIS at the beginning of The War Machines changes appearance when it switches from film to videotape - the window frames go from white to blue...

I'd not noticed Ian fighting a grub-like creature in episode five of The Daleks before today.

I hadn't realised until this morning that Dr Evans in The Moonbase (Ooh, he looks familiar, what's he been in, I wondered) was also Skinsale in Horror of Fang Rock, and Garif in Full Circle.

In "Partners In Crime" Stacey's cab has a "Atmos" sticker in the windscreen - a nice bit of detail nobody can have taken any notice of at the time.

Oh yes! He's like Bad Wolf, secretly sewn through the history of Doctor Who.

The "new" series is now getting old enough that people who were in it have since gone on to become familiar faces, so you can go back and spot them. Who's that scurrying into the air raid shelter in "The Empty Child" when Florence Hoath leads her kids into the house for a free feed? IT'S HEATHER FROM EASTENDERS!!

In The Chase at one point, it actually looks like a seriously produced TV drama...
