The Doctor's Ideal Sports
Given that we're all hooked into the Doctor Who World Cup at the moment (not the real one for me thank you) and that Matt Smith has just demonstrated his footballing prowess, I feel that a discussion is in order.
Peter's ideal sport is cricket (as seen in Black Orchid.
Matt's ideal sport is football (as seen in The Lodger.
Whilst I was watching The Lodger, I started to wonder what the other Doctors' ideal sports would be.
If you can think of any sports that any of the other Doctors would be good at, please reply! I'll start it off: David = Rounders / Baseball.
Let's see what you can come up with!

I believe that Peter Davison may have enjoyed a quick round of that traditional English game, Golf.
The 6th Doctor would probably have favoured that leisurely pursuit, Darts.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Hartnell strikes me as a "pub sports" Doctor. Particularly shove ha'penny. Or of course backgammon - so long as he doesn't do something silly like wager the TARDIS...

Chess (although not actually a sport) seems the obvious choice for the 7th Doctor.
"Social interaction will cease."

Sylvester = Hockey (or indeed any sport that he could use his umbrella for!)

Jon Pertwee would probably do something like Venusian Aerial Polo. Although he had a kind of Top Gear challenge mentality to him over his cars. Maybe motor racing?
