    Default Speculate About The Christmas Special

    No-one's mentioned it so far, but surely the telephone call the Doctor took at the end of "The Big Bang" about the Egyption Spaceship (was it?) to someone he referred to as "Majesty" sets up the Christmas Special? Does this mean we're headed for another "historical in space" akin to "Voyage of the Damned"?

    What are your hopes and fears for the Christmas Special?

    Sounds awful to me, but let's wait and see. Also... the continuing trend of having various prime ministers and kings and queens phoning up the TARDIS and asking for help is worrying like the kind of thing that would have happened in those bizarre TV Comic/TV Action/TV Whatever comic strips that were ridiculed for their complete lack of similarity to the actual television series.

    Actaully I took that scene to be a direct piss take of VoTD, rather than a true preview.
