I had a few this morning. Any reply from the server people Pip? The service we've had since joining them hasn't been great really. Is there an alternative I wonder.

No reply yet, but then it is Easter weekend. I'm sure there's many alternatives, and I shall be looking into them over the spring/summer!

Today is exceptionally bad. *sigh Do we have to wait until October?
Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf, Pip. It all must be especially frustrating for you. Still, at least you'll have the satisfaction of eventually telling Streamline where they can shove their piss poor hosting service. (Sooner rather than later if you ask me) I wish i could be the one to do it.

This morning I'm getting 500 Internal Server errors spasmodically placed in-between successful requests.
It's a ******* Linux server, so why is it doing this?
Is it a shared host and thus another website causing all these problems?Assume you're going to Win

I don't think we will be waiting till October. They're truly pathetic. I've been upgraded to a higher priority support and yet I've not recieved a reply yet! 67 errors this morning, flooding my inbox. When it's fine, it's great, but when it rains, it pisses it down.

Well, on a lighter note I was running for cover last night as it was difficult to get past the "Server Busy" messages every other refresh & then constantly for 10 minutes but so far today I've haven't got one!
I must have had my alloted amount of errors yesterday.

It does seem to be running really smoothly now, but between 9am-11.30am it wasn't!

What would you need to temporarily move somewhere else? I could give you a subdomain and FTP access.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Is it when the U.S goes off-line for the night that it gets better?
Just a thought.

Well:
Date/Time: 22/03/2008 12:35:17
Some customers may be experiencing intermittent access problems to the following servers:
mysql11.streamline.net << ours
mysql13.streamline.net
Our engineers are investigating this currently and we will update this when possible.
UPDATE
Our engineers believe the issue with mysql11 is now resolved.
Unfortunately due to the problem with mysql13 this is taking a much larger amount of time to resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will provide more information when we can.
UPDATE 2
Unfortunately the problems with mysql11 have reoccured and our engineers are investigating these again.
However our engineers believe the issue with mysql13 have been resolved. As always our engineers are continuing to monitor this though.
UPDATE 3
Our engineers are happy to report that these issues are now fully resolved, however they will continue to monitor the servers.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Cheers Pip. I've only had one server busy message today. About 3...ish. Otherwise it has been as it should be. Thanks for the hard work Pip. Much appreciated.

Are people really having problems? I've not had a single error message all evening (as opposed to 67 by lunchtime), and the forum is running very smoothly here...
