Report any website problems here
The staff (especially Pip) may be interested in knowing that the message "Piss off, come back in November" is still visible on the home page before something else loads in front of it. For a slow loading PC like mine at home, it is visible for an adequate amount of time to be easily read. I thought I'd mention it in case you all thought it would be better if it were not there to make a first impression on new members.
(I bet you thought I was going to say something rude about the forum didn't you? )

Nothing when I check it Jeff, you sure your browser cache doesn't need updating?

Pip, old chum, I love the banner for my story on the website, but the title is Darkness on the Edge of Town, not Time.
It looks great though.

I don't think it could be a problem with my cache since I had never been on here before the other night. It is hidden behind the black banner at the very tip top of the main page that says "The Planet Skaro forums are now open..." I can only see it when the page is first loaded, before that banner is loaded and covers it. People with high speed connectons probably won't ever see it since that banner will load fast enough for them. Folks with landlines probably will when the page is first loaded. If you clear your history so all the banner have to load fresh you may be able to catch a glimpse...

Oh I see what it is now - I've fixed it, cheers Jeff.

This has nothing to do with the rude message that is no longer there but there's no thread for front page comments & I didn't want to start on for such a trivial thing.
But the front page seems very out of date. For instance the Hartnell thread is long since finished.

I assume the Wendy Padbury In Leather Hotpants forum is looking splendidly up-to-date, then?

Just been getting it recently- clearly the three of us who are on at the moment are far too much for the server to cope with and it needs a sit down every time somebody posts something.

I've been getting it on & off for the last three days.
And that message!

Joking aside, I just got this message:
Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@planetskaro.org.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Thanks Tim, I'll pass that on to our hosts, though I expect they won't do anything till tomorrow morning.

I got the "server is too busy" message as well yesterday; I tried again a couple of seconds after I'd read it and went straight to where I wanted to go. It's only now Jeff's mentioned it that I'm thinking any more of it than a passing blip.

Refreshing the page will usually solve the problem. But nevertheless I'll be trying to stamp it out.

Stamping it out with the best of them! By the sound of it, it may only be a minor glitch then, I feel rather embarrassed about pointing it out now.

But if I weren't being silly, what else would be left for me to do round here?

It's just taken me 10 minutes to get past:
"vBulletin Message
