What are you listening to now!?
For the second time today, I've closed a previous thread due to it being over 1000 posts, and I am proudly opening the all new "What are you listening to now!?" thread!
Today, I have mostly been listening to Porcupine Tree's latest live album, Atlanta.

I'm have a sneaky listen to the new Royksopp album a week before release thanks to their mailing list and loving the dirty synths. Just right for my mood today.

The new Klaxons album in the car. It's OTT Sci-Fi rock and I really like it. OK, it's not a huge progression from their first album, but it's good silly fun to listen to.
At home I've been listening to the new album from Teenage Fanclub. It's amzing that they're still going really. It's been a while since I last heard anything by them and I'm really liking this too. Lovely, gentle stuff with gorgeous vocals.

It's dance/ambient night in the McCow-Hart household. Downstairs it's Royksopp's new album, Senior, while up here I'm enjoying Time Tourist by B12.

I've been listening to Britney's Singles Collection from last year. It's a lot less flabby than her previous Greatest Hits.

Brandon Flowers of the Killers has a new solo album out, which I believe is #1 in the UK this week, which I am listening to today. Seems pretty good so far. I've also been listening to the brand new album from the Walkmen, which is fantastic, the new Katy Perry album, the Marina album, and the latest offering from Disturbed which I don't believe will get a repeat listen. I guess I'm just not angry enough for that kind of music now that I'm old.

I've compiled a collection of indie classics. Sort of. Well, indie tunes that I quite like. So the last three were Underworld - King of Snake, Gnarls Barkley - Crazy and Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head.
It gets better, honest!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I'm still really enjoying Senior by Royksopp. They've never realsed a duff album yet and this one while rather darker than previous efforts (particularly compared to last year's Junior, which i suppose was the point) it's still a very enjoyable listen.

"The Future Has Been Here 4Ever" from Postcards From A Young Man.
I might be giddy over just getting the album, but I think this is the Manic Street Preachers best ever. And this is the track Nicky Wire sings on as well!

The Script's new album Science and Faith, and their old album too. Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns, Sara Bareilles's Kaleidoscope Heart, Biffy Clyro's Only Revolutions, and Eliza Doolittle's self-titled album. And Cee Lo Green's "F You" has managed to find it's way to my mp3 player as well...

I haven't heard the radio edit yet... I've read that it seems a bit weak next to the orginal.
Add Neon Trees' album, Habits to the above list...

To get into the mood for watching old Who I usually dig out some music of the period and not wanting to bog Si's Season 18@30 thread I decided to post my musical memories here in this thread. So, Sunday afternoon I was listening to the likes of, and I Gotta Pull Myself Together on this, The Nolans, Judas Priest United, Black Slate's slice of old reggae, Amigo, XTC, Generals and Majors, Odyssey if You're Looking For a Way Out, Splogenessabound Two Little Boys ( fast paced Punk version of the Rolf Harris classic) Change Searching, Nick Straker, Mike Berry, Shalamar, Bowie's Ashes to Ashes is still kicking around the top twenty, Diana Ross, Cliff Richard, The Jam. Hazel O'Connor, Sheena Easton, Ottawan, Queen, Madness, Kelly Marie, Stevie Wonder, Randy Crawford and The Police at #1 with Don't Stand So Close To Me (also on DVD)
Next weekned I'm supposed to be painting the stairs and landing so I'll be able to put a couple of albums on while doing that.
