Well of last year's specials I'd say it was the best - without knowing who the other nominees in the category were, I can't say whether it's a worthy winner. Anybody know what else was up for it?

How dare Joss Whedon's genius be passed up for an award!!! Oh wait a second, I don't read SFX any more.
It wasn't my favourite story, but like others have said, probably the strongest of the specials.Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

I loved Waters, nice and dark but then I liked the climactic nature of End too. Tough call, but I can see viewed independatly that Waters is the stronger stand-alone-don't-need-to-know-all-the-backstory one.

Didn't think much of any of the specials. Almost dread to think what the rest of the competition was like. (I should point out I've not seen Flash Forward, and haven't even heard of Dollshouse.)

Speaking of awards, Doctor Who picked up another last night:
Doctor Who has been voted best family drama at the 2010 TV Choice Awards.
The event was held at The Dorchester Hotel in London’s Park Lane on Monday evening and Karen Gillan was on hand to accept the award for the programme voted for by readers of the UK's biggest selling magazine.
The awards were hosted by Alexander Armstrong with Emmerdale winning three prizes and EastEnders taking the prize of best soap.

Yup - I thought Moon was pretty much a classic movie.
