Day of The Daleks -Super Special Edition Out NOW!
Apparently on the 9th, we're going to hear all about another release for next year... in the meantime this mysetrious trailer has been posted up.
What could it be for? Your guess is as good as mine...

Did someone forget to replace TIME and SPACE with the actual destination/time?
"Special Edition" suggests it won't, alas, be an assault on Auderly House by a hundred Daleks but another chance to buy "Ressurection of the Daleks".
I must say, without appearing ungrateful, I'd feel more accomodating of all these opportunities to buy things I already own again if I was able to purchase "Mind of Evil", "Terror of the Autons", "Shada" etc. just once.
Unless of course, the former is paying for the latter, in which case they should tell me and I'd happily buy them all as many times as they like!

The change of lettering and the "special edition" do suggest an already available Dalek story.

Someone wondered if it was in 3D.
Though I'm not sure how that would work? Would I have to buy a new TV to watch it on?
If yes, that's fine, as I'll buy anything 2-entertain tell me to, I was just checking.

I've got a few 3D DVDs, you don't need a new TV, just wear 3D glasses.
I very much doubt they've stumped up the cash to 3Dize an old Doctor Who!
I'd bet this is Resurrection.

I'm going to start a Facebook Campaign: Pour The Pounds Into Pertwee!
If they're splashing the cash, we want recoloured seventies tales (and Shada!) not special editions of Eric Saward stories!

It's the Peter Cushing films ... the BBC has bought the rights and is bringing them into cannon using new filmed foot and tail segments showing Peter Cushing was an alternative Doctor who was created in a time rip caused by the Time War due to timey whimey-ness.
Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

So Carole Ann Ford was Roberta Tovey all along! And Wilf Mott was a bumbling policeman before he sold newspapers! Well that explains everything.

If it's Dimensions In Time, hats will be eaten across the nation...
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I hope it's an animated version of Nick Brigg's Dalek Empire audios. We need a cgi Suze Mendes.

Can we have Planet Of Fire in 3D?
Or at least the Bikini scene?

Someone at GB says
I'm at the DWAS event. The release is Day of the Daleks. We've just seen a trailer promising new SFX and new Dalek voices.Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

The eleventh annual Brenty Four serial is another Planet Skaro exclusive. A new episode each day until Christmas in the Brenty Four-um.

Well it's exciting that The Day of the Daleks is coming out. I'm not sure after Enlightenment and Planet of Fire that anyone's going to get that excited about a 'Special Edition' but the original story is cause enough to celebrate I think!!

If they were clever they'd go back in time and insert extra CGI Daleks and new voices into the story before it was transmitted.

As long as they don't do a George Lucas, so that now the Ogron shoots at the Brigadier first, then I'll be happy.
Hopefully they won't 'improve' any of the 'idiosyncracies' on the original version - things like the end credits appearing on the Dalek screen in part 3, or the weird way the reprises are done.

DWO, has now confirmed it's Day of the Daleks, reading some of the comments there from people who are saying how diisapointed they are I'm not quite sure what people were expecting it was never going going to be news of a missing episode being found and we have been told that animating episodes was to costly. So it was only ever going to be the release of Day or Death to the Daleks or the re-release of Dalek invasion of Earth. Personaly I'm delighted Day of the Daleks is going to be released it's by far the best of the Pertwee, releases
