New Download - "Once Upon A Time Lord - The Music"!
At the end of last year, Planet Skaro Audios unveiled it's latest audio production - "Once Upon A Time Lord". This story represented a first for us, in that it featured for the very first time a complete, newly composed original music score by the very talented Mr Andrew Clancy.
Following a lot of interest in his music for this story, Andrew has very kindly assembled his original music into a five-part suite so that you can all download it and hear it in isolation. And the best part is, it's absolutely free! Just click on the links below, and you can enjoy the magical score for "Once Upon A Time Lord" in its entirety!
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Enjoy!

Excellent! Looking forward to hearing these.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Downloading now. I really enjoyed Andrew's music, so it'll be great to hear it without all those pesky actors getting in its way!

Pesky narrators can stay, obviously!
I really enjoyed the music btw Andrew. I hadn't noticed just how much nursery rhyme influenced pieces there were in it while I was listening to the story. I think that works really well

Lovely stuff, Andrew. The nursery rhyme stuff as Si says was great and just a tiny bit sinister, exactly as nursery rhymes should be.

Sinister is what I was trying to get. I was after spoiling that cozy nursery rhyme, music box, 'everything is cute' vibe with a sound that just slightly makes you feal uneasy.
For example (here comes the technical bit) I made a very small change to the melody of 'Pop goes the weasle' (the long version of it that you hear right at the start of the first part of the suite). This change actually alters the key from a major one to a minor one. Minor keys always sound a bit more sinister or sad and so I deliberatly set about changing it to stop it sounding too happy and cozy. All I did in actual fact was change one note (the penultimate note). Add a few weird sounds etc and job done.
I'm glad you enjoyed the suite Paul.
