Childhood Memories
I've just joined the forum and been asked to introduce myself. I've been watching the adventures of the Doctor since November 1963 when I was 6 years old. So hiding behind the sofa is now a conditioned reflex! I still have memories of watching the original William Hartnell series and the reactions of myself and my friends to the show at the time.
I found the Planet Skaro site via Big Finish, an I-Pod and another site called Botcherby's.

You were 6 when you started watching in '63, that makes you ummm.... right... we'll forget about that for now. I was ummm... 8 going on 9 when I started watching in '64, so I guess that makes us the oldest here on PS, which by the way is a great forum, and good place to be, I hope you'll stick around.
Some threads I'd like to recommend here are in the sub forum, we've recently been discussing season 8, but there are several in there, perhaps you'd like to post some views, we're all up for discussion on various topics. So welcome to the boards.

Hi Junkyard - welcome aboard! I've bored everyone here saying I was 4 when Genesis of the Daleks was on, and it truely terrified the life out of me. And still does - subsequent appearances of the Daleks have failed to bring the same chill level!
Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

Welcome, Junkyard! Yet another person I can be insanely jealous of having seen most of the missing episodes
I hope you find Planet Skaro to your liking!
