The night before last, I was flat-sharing with the eleventh Doctor. It was quite fun, actually. (Leave it!)
Same question, just to see if it's not just me.

Tenth Doctor outfit would probably be the only one I'd get away with.

A throwback to the 1980s white console but with TV-Movie-esque cathedral size and gothic adornments

Doctor Who And The Doomsday Weapon
Malcom Hulke really bought the story out. He even made a mild killing on the TV into a big internal acting performance on the page. And did the job of making the story seem a lot better than how it appeared.
Same question.

I'd love to say In An Exciting Adventure With The Daleks, but it's not really a Target adaptation, just a reprint. So instead I'll go with The Auton Invasion, which I read over and over and over again when I was half the size and twice the mental capacity I am now.
What's your least favourite Virgin NA/MA?
-

Of those I've read, I'd probably say Kate Orman's Set Piece. It's the one that wrote out Ace, and it just seemed so unfathomable and directionless to me. To be fair, it's a LONG time since I read it, and it may in part have been because I'd enjoyed her previous one SO much that I'd expected too much of it.
Actually, no, forget that - Infinite Requiem is the one, because I just remember it as being SOOO dull. A Doctor Who story can have many faults, but to be boring is by far the worst.
This may be a rich seam... So, which NA/MA would you (have liked) to see turned into a TV episode?

Not now, because it's too late, but Blood Heat would have been brilliant with Nick Courtney in it.
If you're re-writing a MA for the 11th Doctor, then Lords of the Storm would be pretty cool as a two parter (and we'd get NuHoo Rutans !!), though the Mill might be pretty busy.
Which BF audio should be adapted to make a new series story ?Bazinga !
-
1st Jan 2012, 6:20 PM #193
Seasons of Fear. It'd be an excellent 2 parter.
What's your favourite Doctor Who score by Paddy Kingsland?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.
-
7th Jan 2012, 4:15 PM #194
Just to get things moving again, Frontios (it's the only one of his I've got!).
Next question. Which supporting character from the NuHoo series would you like to see make a return appearance?
-
7th Jan 2012, 5:56 PM #195
Canton Delaware, if only because Mark Shepard is such a damn good actor.
Which Classic series planet would you like the 11th Doctor to revisit ?Bazinga !
-

Zeata Minor, the original jungle set was brilliant just think what they could do with it now.
if a missing episode was returned to the BBC, but on inspection the film/tape hade degraded to a point that it was beyond being repaired would you want to know about it or would you prefer to not be told.
-
7th Jan 2012, 10:55 PM #197
I think it would be interesting, but I'd only want to be told after they found it... so my hopes didn't get up!
Who is your favourite character in Genesis of the Daleks, aside from the regulars, Davros and Nyder?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
-
8th Jan 2012, 9:03 AM #198
I always liked Ronson - a caring scientist and all round good egg. Fab death scene too!
Can you give me any redeeming features about David Brierly's K9 voice?
-
8th Jan 2012, 10:16 AM #199
I'm afraid I can't, really.
Anyone else?
-
8th Jan 2012, 11:14 AM #200
Yes, it's absolutely fine. In fact, there's only one single solitary thing wrong with Brierley's K9 voice.... namely, the fact that it ISN'T John Leeson's!
On a similar vein, then, am I the only one who likes Gooderson's Davros?
