With - as I've said before, the current sequence looks like an advert for Gaviscon. DW title sequences should represent the heights of current technology.

Which bit part character do you think is a little gem of a perfomance in DW ?
    Bazinga !

It's just an embarassment. (Mind you, those who do not learn from history and all that.... Almost a quarter of a century later, the same thing happened in Cardiff with not one person anywhere in the vicinity of those new Daleks pointing out "Erm... actually they're a bit rubbish aren't they?")

Title sequence - with face, or without?
Without. The face is just a bit too, er, what's that giant bodiless face doing in the Time Vortex!

Incidentally, I never had a problem with the Dragonfire 1 cliffhanger until fandom told me to. How weird!

So, apropos of that, has received wisdom ever changed your opinion on something Doctor Who-related?

Oops, page changed again. Gotta get the hang of this!

The meet-and-greet fellow in The End of the World, Jon. Can't think of the name as I type! Classy performance, anyhow, and hilarious too.

My question's in the post above!

Finding it hard to think of one, I tend to go against the grain of conceived wisdom anyway, my favourite doctors are the Sixth and Seventh and my favourite era is the RTD one. Possibly that the ending of Last of the Time Lords is a bit rubbish, I remember enjoying it at the time, but years of fandom moaning about it have gradually worn away my enjoyment.

If you could visit the setting of one doctor who story, which one would it be and why?

I think I'd love to go to Argolis and have a holiday.

Which Doctor would cook you the best meal?

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I suspect the Eighth Doctor - his romanticness would ensure something truly breathtaking!

Which do you think was the best Ice Warriors story?

The first one. But they're none of them spectacularly good.

So what was the best Sontaran story?

Oh, definitely The Time Warrior - the original and the best!

That's an easy one...Time And The Rani.

What episode of Doctor Who was broadcast on, or closest to, the day you were born?

The last episode of the Daemons (before) or Day of the Daleks part 1 (after).

Of those stories where only one episode exists in the archives, which is your favourite 'orphan' episode?

Oh, without a doubt The Web of Fear Episode 1.

Would you like to see another Doctor Who spin-off anytime soon?

I'd like to see an X-Files like series into the supernatural, featuring John and Ma Tyler, with Adam Colby as the scientific sceptical one.

Are there any other Classic Who characters who deserve their own spin off ?

You mean other than Jago and Litefoot...?*

Which livery of classic series Dalek should be kept on as the new regular Dalek following this coming series?

    * A television spin-off, of course.

Well - it depends on what actually happens this year!

Let's have the gunmetal grey ones, they look good.

In which story did the Daleks come across as most incompetent and why?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Daleks in Manhattan - Evolution, and mainly because the writer hadn't got the first idea about how basic science works but put science words in to make it seem "kewl"

(and notwithstanding being made to look like science thickies, the fundamental idea of making humans act like daleks, and giving them dalek-destorying weapons is just so dim )

What's the ideal episode length and number for a DW story ?
    Bazinga !

    4 x 25 min episodes. By far.

Is there anything from the Classic series that hasn't yet come back in the New series that you would like to see come back?

I'd like to see the Ice Warriors up-dated for the New series. Either as enemies or allies.

Is there anywhere on Earth, other than the UK, you would like to see an episode set?

I would LOVE to see one set in Hong Kong

What "Who" story do you think was most inappropriate (in terms of content) for its time slot?

    Where to start...

Okay then, The Waters of Mars. By a country mile.

Which Who story do you think is the most "children's TV"?

Time And The Rani, in a good way. Paradise Towers, in a bad way.

Who would you like to see in Who as a guest star? (Not counting any series regulars.)

Bill Bailey as the Meddling Monk. Yes I know he was in it but I want a proper role dammit.

What things in Doctor Who have genuinely terrified you?

Death to the Daleks episode one. It still does!

The "London Eye" scene in Rose. Even just thinking about it makes me grin - and according to the Scripts book for that series, there was some debate as to whether it was just too silly. Thankfully Julie Gardner's husband swung the debate towards keeping it in!!

What moment in Doctor Who is the most moving?
