British Pie Week!
It's British Pie Week apparently.

So now is the perfect time to ask you what's your favourite kind of pie?

I do like a nice steak pie.
Ironically this will probably a week when I don't cook a pie.

I like Steak, Chicken, Steak & Kidney. In fact if it's a meat pie I'll probably eat it.
Chicken would probably be my favourite, so long as it's nice quality chicken pieces.

Chicken, probably.
May I be the first person to mention Ian Levine on this thread?

Chicken and Musroom.
I hate Steak and Kidney.I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

Very special!
I love a good Chicken pie, Steak and Ale is great too and sweet wise, Apple and Blackberry pie is an all time winner.

There are so many to choose from! There's even the pastry-less Fish Pie, which I've always thought is a bit of an interloper in the Pie world. And what about Shepherd's Pie?
One pie I'm not so fond of is the Pork Pie. It's always nice for the first couple of bites, but then the crumbly pastry, sickly jelly and mashed-up-meat get a bit too much. Maybe if I had it warm that would help, but they're usually stone cold.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I love Pork Pies, but they are extremely naughty.

Mini Pork Pies are the best way to have pork pies. There's just enough to remind you why you like them, but not enough to make you hate them.
Now pasties, they never can never be too big. I love a good Cornish pasty- especially the ones in the local pasty shop in the village where my Grandma lives. Those are delish!

Pork pies are always good, whatever the size.
Now that's the dilemma I always find, whether to have it with gravy, or with tomato ketchup. Generally, I go for the ketchup, but it depends on the side order - as it happens, I've got a Steak & Hobsons Mild pie in the oven right now, and I'm having it with chips and baked beans (no peas in the house) which means I'm going to have ketchup. I actually would have preferred gravy tonight, but I can't have gravy with baked beans!

Despite it being a stereotypically staple food in Australia, I rarely have pies now. Looking forward to rectifying that in a fortnight though!
Oooh, coconut macaroons!
