I have. One time in the rain and Steve got a parking ticket (on my birthday) and one time to see Paul McGann in a play, for Steve's Mum's birthday.
When will I see you again?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

-

It's always online these days, which is probably sacrilege, given my past employment as a bookseller!

Both, but most often I borrow them from the library. It's a whole lot cheaper that way.
Are you a library user?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.
-
13th Jun 2012, 9:30 AM #267
Up until about 8 months ago I used to be a regular library user - making full use of our county's request system and popping over to small local libraries dotted around us if I knew they had what I wanted.
Unfortunately my home town library changed its opening hours and got rid of its later night openings, and as such I find it almost impossible to get there when I want to. I found I was renewing books online for weeks at a time , not because I hadn't finished them but because I couldn't get there on time to return them and didn't want the fines. So, having eventually returned them all I haven't dare sign any more out since.
Mind you, I'm not exactly short of books I own that I haven't got round to reading yet
Has the sun appeared where you are today ?Bazinga !

Ask me tomorrow or better yet on Friday when I'm recovering but I guess probably. Certainly feels more like an obligation than something to look forward to at the moment.
How patient are you when waiting for replies?
-
13th Jun 2012, 12:52 PM #271
I am quite patient, but I do find it rude when people don't reply at all. That's something that deeply annoys me. Not like a casual reply, every conversation has to end somewhere, but when you ask someone something specifically and they never get back to you.
Do you need or wear glasses?
Si.
-
13th Jun 2012, 1:27 PM #272
Neither - at the moment. I think I have my Mother's eyes in that respect. Although these days she requires longer arms to read things :-)
When's the last time you had a completely uncontrollable fit of the giggles, and what was it about??
-
14th Jun 2012, 12:50 PM #273
I can't even remember. It's been a while. Maybe a few years. Things make me laugh all the times but it's not often you can't stop laughing. Those moments given are a gift from time.
What really riles you?
Si.
