Supreme Commander
I've been playing Supreme Commander for most of this evening. Supreme Commander is a real-time strategy game where you, as the enormous Supremely Commanding robot build an unfeasible number of ludicrously powerful tanks, planes, boats and robots to defeat your opponents.
There's a video explaning it all on the Play website - http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/1011...r/Product.html
It was pretty tricky getting used to the controls at first, what with all the zooming in and out that was required, but I got the hang of it eventually.
It's really cool. It even runs moderately well on my PC. Rock n roll!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

If it was, I'd be playing it every evening and Steve would be downstairs watching the TV.
But it's not.
Sadly.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I was looking forward to an "Oh Travis!" button.

Do games still come on floppy discs? I remember trying to play "Monkey Island 2" on my Amiga - one disc drive, twelve discs. It was a swap-a-minute joy.
Si.

I've decided to name my new PC - Orac!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It's now so taking over his life he has to post here about it - oh dear.
I daren't mention the concept to my son or he'll want me to get a new computer just to play it!
