Why Season 7?
Some of you may be wondering why we decided that we should go back and examine Season 7 next? After all, this is the third Pertwee season that we've done, while there are still a few Doctors that haven't yet been represented.
Well, most of you will know that Caroline John sadly passed away not so long ago. The decision to look back on Season 7 was partially in tribute to her. But not just to her. We also are dedicating the month-or-so that we'll be examining this story to the other departed regular cast and crew that made Season 7 such a delight to watch. As far as I know, this one of only two seasons of Doctor Who so far where not one member of the regular cast is still around today (the other being Season 11).
This re-examination of Season 7 is in tribute particularly to Caroline John (1940-2012), Nicholas Courtney (1929-2011), Barry Letts (1925-2009) and, of course, Jon Pertwee (1919-1996). May they all rest in peace.
