Wow that's utterly remarkable! I just can't imagine what it would be like to have someone else's hand! Surgeons are indeed clever people!

That is incredible... I read a John Irving book on this subject!
It is a modern miracle. Just so long as they don't transplant me that mysterious hand that they found in a quarry.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I heard this on the news on the way home - remarkable, and amazing, and yet I couldn't help wondering what it must be like to look at your hands and see that they don't 'match'. I would think it will take some adjustment, psychologically, for the patient.

One report I heard today suggested that the reason it has taken so long is not because of the lack of technical skill, but to be sure they found a recipient with the right mental attitude to be able to cope.
Lets just hope no concert pianists need two hands that come from a very dubious source.....Bazinga !
