Dressing 12
Well we have our new Doctor, but what do you think his new look should be? What kind of clothes do you think he should wear?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Well I would say that a good 2 piece suit would suit him but it's been done with Tennant.
I really can't think of anything else.

The thing is he needs to distance himself from Malcolm Tucker a bit, so perhaps a suit isn't going to be the right choice. It also depends what his Doctor is going to be like. I'd suspect that he might want the Full Pertwee except that it wouldn't really fit in with the modern world.
We've been creeping back to the Edwardian Genteel look after Eccleston's leather jacket, haven't we? Maybe it's time to go in another direction. Silver catsuit.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It's a shame Matt got the new purple frock coat look, as that would suited Peter really well.

Maybe he'll get the "pirate" look that the Moff intended for Matt?
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I think he'd look good in a linen suit- something baggy and comfortable- much like the 7th Doctor wore in the New Adventures. He could have nice colourful shirts undermeath to add a little to it and a hat. Definitely a hat!

I've been giving this some thought & I thought may be a 1920's/1930's type American Ganster look, not the whole black & white shoes with spats but the general suit look.
A Zoot Suit if you will. And a penchant for Jazz; That should keep a certain quarter of P.S happy.

What about a vaguely hippy-esque sort of look - maybe not the whole 'red specs & sandals' thing, but a linen shirt, sleeves usually rolled up, with a variety of waistcoats, some hempy & grungy, some more smart & silky like a snooker player. A pair of loose-fitting baggy trousers, and when he needs it just the most shapeless, but 'pockety' old coat to keep the rain off.
