Guinness Marmite
Mmmmmmmm, or not?
Some of you may have noticed that Marmite have released a limited edition jar of marmite that's guinness flavoured. I've been trying to find some, as my girlfriend is marmite mad, and quite partial to a pint of guinness too! But alas, all the stores round my way seem to have sold out already, and e-bay seems to be flooded with them, as people try to make a quick buck.
So, anyone else had problems finding this? Anyone tried it, did you love it or hate it? If any of you know where I can pick up a jar, or two, please let me know, it'll be some good brownie point for yours truly!

I don't like either Guiness or Marmite so this is unlikely to be a treat for me!

I love Marmite but have never tried Guinness. I doubt I'd buy a jar of this as I just might hate it & it'd be a waste of money. I'd rather buy Marmite flavoured crisps.

I don't like Marmite.
But I love Marmite flavoured crisps. Odd that.

I like Guinness and Marmite (and Marmite flavour crisps, too) but I've not seen any Guinness-flavoured Marmite in the shops either.
It could be lovely, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it could be absolutely foul.

I thought that too! Very wary about the idea to begin with...Until I got home and tried some. I have to say I was especially keen to try it (bear in mind that I was actually still in my coat and scarf and surrounded by full shopping bags when I cracked open the jar and stook a teapoon in! )
I love Guinness. I love Marmite. It's gift from the gods!I must admit, just when I think I'm king, I just begin!

Mary Tamm likes a nice pint of Guinness. It is a fact Controller.
When I was a child I though "Genesis of the Daleks" was called "Guinness of the Daleks".

Ah, but if you're plying her with Marmite I'm sure she'll be very thankful...

I can see the connection though, every time I drink Guiness it comes out like Marmite.

Funnily enough, like 95% of the population I had a pint of Guinness on Saturday and found myself thinking "hmm, this tastes a bit Marmitey...". Could it just be a cunning plot to increase Marmite sales by sticking the Guinness logo on jars of normal Marmite? Must try it, though. I like Marmite up to a point (i.e. not enough to have it all the time) and great fun can be had feeding it to Americans, but anything's better than Vegemite- a pale Australian imitation which just doesn't have the edge.
