Ultimate Doctor Who: Season 8
It's the start of the UNIT family, as Jo and Yates join the show as regulars, and the Doctor get's his nemesis in the form of Roger Delgado's Master. Autons, Axons, Mind parasites,Daemons and a trip into time and space to Exarius too!
What's your favourite from season 8?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

No questions about it: it's The Daemons, as it was the first story I saw when it was repeated on BBC2 in 1992. Despite being an unusual length (5 episodes), the story never drags and flows along nicely. I know a lot of people don't like the ending but I don't mind.

The Daemons for me too - I just love the setting and have been fortunate enough to visit it twice. Miss Hawthorne is wonderful and you've got to love the Master posing as a vicar!

Terror of the Autons.
Such a special story for me. The only Dr Who story that ever gave me a nightmare as a child. I still love it this day, and could watch it over and over.Last edited by Wayne; 8th Nov 2013 at 3:02 PM.

Daemons for me too. The VHS was so much anticipated.

The Mind of Evil for me. Jo being capable in the face of the convicts, The Master being suave and sophistocated in his limo, the Doctor not being too pompously insufferable (as he often is this year), UNIT having some fun action sequences. Great story!

Terror Of The Autons - the Master at probably his most sinister, give or take the first two stories with Tom.

Daemons is my favourite Pertwee story so gets my vote. I really do like Mind of Evil and Terror of The Autons though, both of which are better than my favourite stories from the next 3 seasons.

I love The Daemons, but I'm going to go for another favourite, and often overlooked I feel, which is The Claws of Axos. Having 'only' four episodes to fill, it doesn't suffer the fate of some Pertwee stories of having a bit too much padding - and with all the stuff going on inside Axos, it's incredibly trippy!

The Mind of Evil, although they're all brilliant except for Colony in Space.
Oooh, coconut macaroons!

Mind Of Evil. A hard choice once again, though!

I just love a bit of Pertwee/Auton action so it's the opening story for me, such a colourful, brash, different reboot after the previous series and again, so many memorable set-pieces, like Wayne said earlier, I could watch it again and again.
