Oh sweet jesus! Si I have to say you're taking broad stroke comments made about an actresses portrayal way way way too personally here. I've read the discussion and absolutely nowhere is there any evidence whatsoever that Mike or anyone else for that matter is personally attackingyou or anyone else.
I myself considered Gomez portrayal as overly camp - does that mean I'm attacking you or anyone on here?? OF COURSE IT DOESN'T! All it means is we didn't like the portrayal and in the end it's an opinion (like bottoms everyone has one) like it or don't that's what this forum thrives on after all but to assume broad comments are a veiled attempt at getting at you personally borders on the ridiculous frankly..
In the end much as we love the show (that's why we post here) it IS only a TV show. Just enjoy it and relax

No problem. I guessed you were in the middle of writing it as I posted it.

I'm looking forward to watching this while sober. Maybe in about a year's time.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I know I keep banging on about that, but hey it's all I can think of with regards to this episode. Did all the things that I think happened really happen? Or did I just make them up? Was there really a scene where the Doctor summoned the TARDIS to help him after being pushed out of an airplane? Was he really made President of Earth? Was that really the Cyber-Brigadier?
Nah! I was trippin', innit?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Yeah his "key" was out and ready haha. Seriously though, given what we've seen in past new series episodes, why not just click his bloody fingers to open the doors?? Seems to me that when freefalling towards certain death it'd be a hell of a lot quicker and easier to click your fingers than try to get a key in a lock!
Moffatt really is a pillock sometimes!

Watched it again yesterday. I didn't really dislike it last week, and in fact I liked it even more (or 'not disliked it even less' if you prefer) second time round. Amongst many little details that I appreciated more the second time, there's something rather moving about the way Capaldi fills in his history with the Master, talking to Danny: "I had a friend when I was young, and we ran together, and I thought we were the same..." It's simply put, but very emotive.
