Gah!! I stayed up just to see if I could get New Adventures Of Superman to win!
Well played all.

Phew! Well played Paul.
Buffy should've been second though.

Twin Peaks was still the best of them though.
For me, DS9 was the best of the Star Trek franchises. It was a slow starter for the first three seasons, but the last four seasons were amazing.

I could never get into Twin Peaks, though I tried a few times - so I'm glad to see it didn't win. I agree about DS9 being the best of the modern Treks, so it's a fair winner. Babylon 5 went out surprisingly early I thought, although I will admit that has dated more than I thought it might have done.
(Although really I hoped X Files would win, grumble, grumble, moan whinge whine moan...)

I had to vote Babylon 5 out simply because it's a steaming turd of a show. 😊

X-Files was fine for its first couple of seasons but less so after that.

I don't agree with Paul either, B5 was my top choice but can't fault his reasoning...if you don't like something, you don't like it simple as that!
Not that I've seen all of DS9 yet but it was my second choice...I love early X-Files but I tend to agree that it ran out of steam. I was surprised to see Dark Skies and Sliders last so long (Superman too, for that matter...although I felt The Flash was much better!)...I enjoyed these series, Dark Skies in particular, so it was a pleasant surprise to see them challenge the big guns

Sliders was another show that started well, and again after a couple of seasons it went downhill. However it's far clearer to me why in this case, it was the change of virtually all the main characters and change of emphasis of the series when they went down the alien invader routewith the Kromaggs.
