Happy 100th Birthday to Earl Cameron!
Happy Birthday to actor Earl Cameron, who played theastronaut Williams in The Tenth Planet, who has reached the momentous age of100!
4 days ago he was invited to unveil a plaque at Coventry Theatre commemorating the fact thatin 1828 the then 20 year-old Ira Aldridge became Manager of that theatre makingher the first black person to run a British theatre (her daughter was voicecoach to Cameron). Apparently, Earl performed Othello's final speech at thisevent – from memory!

He is currently the oldest surviving actor to have appeared in Doctor Who and only the third person in the series' history to become a centenarian. Many Happy Returns!
